📰 Meet the Designers Making Their New York Fashion Week Debuts For Spring 2026
✨ Fashion Insights & Trends:
New York Fashion Week is finally here, with six days of sartorial newness kicking off on Sept. 11. Its usual suspects line the CFDA's official calendar — Coach, Tory Burch, Michael Kors Collection and Christian Siriano, to name a few — but we're equally excited for the new vanguard of up-and-comers showing for the first time.
It's been a busy September so far for Allina Liu: The emerging designer is staging her debut runway show on Sept. 14, and she was recently named a finalist for the CFDA | Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation Grant. London-based brand Damson Madder will spotlight its small-batch creations at its inaugural NYFW presentation, while Dublin-born designer Maria McManus brings her sustainable brand ethos to the official CFDA schedule for the first time. Other newcomers to add to your radar include Rùadh's artisanal womenswear and 6397's blend of Japanese minimalism with Southwestern grit.
KFN, which launched a multi-year partnership with the CFDA last season, is also officially introducing its Venue Collective, an initiative to create a streamlined NYFW for designers, press and guests alike. KFN worked alongside the CFDA to help make select shows more centralized within a tight radius (below 34th Street and within lower Manhattan) and to make scheduling and access simpler.
The Venue Collective also helps to eliminate barriers to entry for emerging labels, and selected 27 designers out of 105 applicants to support. "For smaller designers, the Venue Collective removes some of the heaviest burdens — cost and logistics," KFN Co-Founder Imad Izemrane told Fashionista over email. "We've provided turnkey venues, backstage infrastructure and production resources at no cost, which allows brands to focus their budgets on their collections."
"Even with our support, it's still expensive to show, but KFN goes beyond financial relief," Izemrane continued. "Our expert team, including producers with over 20 years of NYFW experience, guided designers through every step — from venue scouting and permitting to sponsor connections and first-time show advising. By centralizing this process, we've made it far less complicated than managing separate vendors and approvals on their own."
Ahead, we've rounded up the designers making their NYFW debuts for Spring 2026.

After cutting her teeth at The Row, Thakoon, Rebecca Taylor and J.Crew, Allina Liu launched her eponymous brand in 2015. The designer blends romance and elegance with influences from Chinese photographer Ren Hang, Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, Korean fiber artist Do-ho Suh and 17th-century Dutch portraiture. Allina Liu, a finalist for the CFDA | Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation Grant, will present its debut runway show on Sept. 14.

Houston-born designer Amir Taghi incorporates his Persian and American heritage into his luxury womenswear pieces. The Central Saint Martins and Parsons alum previously worked at Proenza Schouler, Oscar de la Renta, Monse and Adam Lippes before launching his eponymous ready-to-wear label during the pandemic. Amir Taghi is staging its first NYFW runway show on the CFDA calendar on Sept. 16.

Damson Madder

Emma Hill worked behind the scenes in the fashion industry for years and observed its sustainability shortcomings firsthand, which inspired her to launch her own small-batch label Damson Madder in 2020 (a week before lockdown). The London-based brand is run by a small, female team and releases limited collections of about 15 to 35 pieces per drop in an effort to minimize waste. Now, with a celebrity fan base and global stockists across 20 countries, Damson Madder is headed stateside to make its NYFW debut with a presentation celebrating the launch of its Fall 2025 collection on Sept. 10.
Eloquii

Plus-size label Eloquii is holding its debut NYFW runway show on Sept. 10. Inspired by the "power of possibility," the collection will feature architectural silhouettes, rich textures and elevated fabrics designed by its in-house team to command attention. "Every detail is intentional because I know firsthand the power that comes from wearing clothing made with you in mind," Eloquii Creative Director Yesenia Torres said in a statement. "Plus-size fashion should never be an afterthought, it deserves to be the focus."

Guo first launched the "gender-expansive" fashion label in 2021 in New York City. Grounded in statement knitwear, Fang NYC's collections aim to challenge traditional notions of femininity and masculinity by providing an outlet for "liberated, queer and subversive expression." Fang NYC will show at NYFW for the first time on Sept. 10.

Ivy Moda is currently helmed by Vy Nguyen, a 24-year-old Hanoi-born designer born into the family behind Ivy Moda.
Jasper
Kooshan Dunn created luxury label Jasper to design "wearable heirlooms" meant to be collected and re-worn again and again. Deriving its name from its namesake gemstone, Jasper (which also translates to "keeper of treasure" in Persian) emphasizes sculptural tailoring and pieces that tell a story. Jasper's Spring 2026 collection, which will be unveiled at its inaugural NYFW presentation on Sept. 11, takes inspiration from the sea via maritime stripes, map prints and sculptural knits.

Lii — a ready-to-wear label founded by FIT alum Zane Li — emphasizes structural silhouettes and solid color palettes. Lii has also accumulated a celebrity following as Ayo Edebiri and Greta Lee have worn the brand's designs. Lii will show on the CFDA calendar for the first time with a runway set for Sept. 16.

The Dublin-born designer launched her eponymous womenswear brand in 2020 to create clothing with the lowest environmental impact. Maria McManus counts stars like Christy Turlington, Gwyneth Paltrow and Phoebe Bridgers as fans of the brand. Though the five-year-old label has shown during NYFW before, this season marks its first runway on the CFDA calendar, to be held on Sept. 12.

In 2024, Tinka Weener founded Songs of Siren, a luxury clothing and accessories label creating collections inspired by the archetypal siren. The Los Angeles-based brand offers hand-beaded mini dresses and matching sets, along with triangular handbags. After crossing London Fashion Week off the brand's bucket list just months after launching, now Songs of Siren is headed to NYFW with its debut presentation on Sept. 10. "This season, the siren matures with a fresh vision and an expanded palette," Weener said in a statement. "The collection introduces new designs while staying true to our DNA of high-quality beading, slow fashion craftsmanship, mystical influences and premium fabrics."
