Kyle Bakonyi never expected to find himself constructing couture gowns for A-list clients, but thanks to Drexel University's Master's of Fashion Design program, he's doing just that. Coming from a science background, Kyle was drawn to Drexel's program because it welcomes students without prior fashion experience and offers a full foundation in technical skills like draping, pattern-making and couture construction. "I wanted a program that would give me the skills to fully understand fashion design, not just a certificate in sewing," Kyle says. "Drexel allowed me to start from scratch at a master's level."
