As it did for most early-2000s babies, Polly Pocket reigned supreme as my childhood toy of choice. Of course, my Barbie and Littlest Pet Shop collections were close contenders (and later my Monster High queens), but I cherished Polly Pocket's heart-shaped compact dollhouses with their teeny-tiny figures. Polly Pocket underwent a major makeover in the late '90s, transforming her from the cutest potential choking hazard to a slightly larger ponytailed doll with candy-colored rubber (read: chewable) clothing.

It was this revamped Polly's Y2K-inspired style that influenced my own fashion sense, and now Lisa Says Gah is bringing the toy's nostalgic aesthetic to life as the California-based multi-brand retailer teamed up with Polly Pocket to create the collection of my childhood dreams. Lisa Says Gah returned to the OG '90s design themes for the collaboration, referencing Polly Pocket's iconic compact dollhouses via a patterned denim mini skirt, wide-leg jeans and a tote bag.

I'm personally salivating over the collection's butter-yellow matching set: a quilted button-up jacket featuring heart-shaped pockets, with the same quilted texture continuing into a mini skirt. (Plus, there's a pale yellow pair of pointed-toe kitten heels to complete the outfit.)

With sizes ranging from XS to 3XL, Lisa Says Gah perfectly translated Polly's '90s charm into modern-day silhouettes; other options include a matching yellow gingham cardigan-and-short set, a purple fuzzy short-sleeve polo, a bright-blue quilted dress and a pink faux-leather jacket-and-mini-skirt pairing. Further leaning into the cutesy aesthetic are $78 baby graphic tees reading "Tiny Vibes" and "Cute as a button."

It simply wouldn't be a Polly Pocket collaboration without an emphasis on trinket-like accessories, like tea party-approved quilted placemats and coasters, a silver charm necklace and keychain featuring Polly Pocket's signature lavender "P" logo, and a sampling of flower, heart, bow and seashell pendants. Lisa Says Gah's April Purse — a blue quilted heart-shaped bag with a ruffle-adorned strap and bow accents — stands out as the must-have accessory from the collection.

Though Polly Pocket is still around (Mattel revamped the franchise in 2018 after discontinuing it in 2012), Lisa Says Gah brought the OG Polly back with a modern edge — and a touch of nostalgia — for the girls who grew up with their tiny BFF.
