📰 Mark Howard Thomas Unveils His Vision for Carven

✨ Fashion Insights & Trends:

Yet another highly-anticipated designer debut graced the runway at this season's Paris Fashion Week on Thursday as Mark Howard Thomas officially took the reins at Carven.

Thomas, who was appointed as Louise Trotter's successor as Carven's director of design back in March, wasn't entirely new to the French label; he first joined the brand in 2023 as the head of sartorial and creative collaborations. Now that he's running the show, Carven's Spring 2026 collection is one of refinement: soft silhouettes traverse through a color palette of stark whites, smoky blacks and soft ecrus. Pops of color are used sparingly, seen in a pastel pink blouse, sky blue peek-a-boo boxers and a burgundy handbag. Texture, however, reigns supreme through a mix of lace, jacquard, silk, cotton voile and moiré fabrications.
