WGSN and Coloro have named "Radiant Earth," a rusty reddish hue, as 2028's color of the year. WGSN and Coloro reported that the demand for colors that feel grounding and permanent is rising amid fleeting trends, making Radiant Earth a reassuring representation of stability. "In a world that often feels chaotic, we're seeing a shift toward emotions like resilience and flourishing," Stephanie Barnscher, WGSN's senior color forecaster, said in a statement. Coperni and Martine Rose owner Tomorrow Ltd. is sold
Tomorrow Ltd., the London-based owner of Coperni and Martine Rose, is being sold to Progetto 11, the parent company of The Level Group. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Relationships between Tomorrow and its brands have deteriorated as the group allegedly fell behind on payments to certain designers. Yulenny Garcia immigrated from the Dominican Republic to the United States as a 21-year-old in 2014, and later opened her own nail salon in 2018. Garcia started doing Marc Jacobs' nails two years ago after the designer slid into her Instagram DMs asking about her work. Her appointments with Jacobs regularly take more than 10 hours.
