📰 Which Brands Cut Through the Noise During New York Fashion Week?
✨ Fashion Insights & Trends:
New York Fashion Week wrapped up last month with dazzling designer debuts and star-studded front rows (including a rare Rihanna spotting at AWGE), but one question remains: Which brands made the biggest impact this season? Launchmetrics released its Fall 2026 NYFW report, which analyzed data from Feb. 9 through Feb. 23 to determine the event's key "voices" (media, influencers and celebrities, for example) and the top 20 labels ranked by media impact value (MIV).
For Fall 2026, NYFW generated a total of $249.3 million MIV, marking a significant decrease compared to Spring 2026's total MIV of $408.2 million. Media has continued to dominate the NYFW voice mix, as it accounted for 62% of value MIV (up 2% from Spring 2026). Broken down across social media platforms, media voices consistently outranked influencers in MIV on Instagram (44% vs. 25%), TikTok (46% vs. 30%) and YouTube (47% vs. 18%). Vogue U.S. led the top voices for Fall 2026 with $9.3 million MIV, followed by Calvin Klein ($7.3 million MIV), WWD ($6.2 million MIV), InStyle ($5.8 million MIV) and Ralph Lauren ($5.3 million MIV).
Influencers still had quite the presence at NYFW: Priscila Escoto led the pack at $687K MIV, "Love Island USA"'s Leah Kateb generated $601K MIV and Georgina Mazzeo earned $550K MIV. As for the celebrities driving NYFW, Kazuha of Le Sserafim ($3 million MIV) and Blackpink's Jennie Kim ($1.4 million MIV) emerged as key voices.

Mirroring last season, Calvin Klein retained the gold as NYFW's top power player in both total MIV ($29 million) and owned MIV ($7.8 million). The label was pushed further into the spotlight this season via Ryan Murphy's "Love Story," which details the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and former Calvin Klein publicist Carolyn Bessette. This renewed appetite for Calvin Klein's '90s minimalism has surged across social media, solidifying the label as one of NYFW's heavy hitters.
Coach took the silver with $17.7 million total MIV, boosted by its buzzy front row starring Odessa A'Zion ($2.2 million MIV), Caleb McLaughlin ($1.6 million MIV) and Mckenna Grace ($652K MIV). Tory Burch, Michael Kors and Carolina Herrera rounded out the top five, earning $16.8 million, $15.8 million and $13.4 million MIV, respectively.
Diotima catapulted into the top 20 list this season, fueled by a surprise appearance by New York City's First Lady Rama Duwaji that generated $1.7 million in MIV. Diotima's founder Rachel Scott also had the unique role of helming two brands during NYFW since she made her designer debut for Proenza Schouler (which ranked seventh on the list with $6.35 million MIV).
