About Us
Westway Communications is a boutique fashion and beauty PR agency representing emerging and established brands across fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle. Our team specializes in media relations, influencer partnerships, brand strategy, event production, and VIP placement. Responsibilities
* Assist the PR team with daily administrative and client support tasks
* Research editors, stylists, influencers, celebrities, and media contacts
* Build and update press lists and influencer databases
* Coordinate product shipments, messenger deliveries, and sample trafficking
* Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings and reports
* Support event planning, influencer mailers, launches, fittings, and activations
* Assist with showroom organization and inventory management
* Track trends across fashion, beauty, wellness, and pop culture
* Help with Westway social accounts, posting and support

Qualifications
* Strong interest in fashion, beauty, wellness, and public relations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn
* Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and influencer culture
* Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Launchmetrics, and Canva is a plus
* Previous internship or PR/showroom experience is preferred but not required
* Be available for an in-person internship for a minimum of 2 days per week from 10 AM – 5 PM.
