In an industry where hands-on experience opens many doors, getting a head start on your career as a fashion professional can be a crucial first step.
And bolstering your resume doesn't have to wait until after graduation: Many pre-college summer programs offer high schoolers a chance to cultivate their love of fashion while earning valuable college credits. Top fashion schools like the Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design and LIM College, for example, offer interactive workshops for aspiring fashion designers, with opportunities to develop essential design skills, foster their creativity and encounter real-world applications.
