Origin Story: Indie Lee created her namesake skin-care brand after a life-threatening diagnosis that changed the way she viewed healthy living. In 2008, Lee was unexpectedly diagnosed with a brain tumor — one that doctors believed was environmentally derived — and on Earth Day in 2009, Lee underwent her first successful brain surgery. From this experience, Lee made it her mission to empower others to live more intentionally and make informed choices, starting with the products we put on our skin. In 2010, she turned her awakening into action and advocacy, bringing the formulas she created in her kitchen to market through the launch of Indie Lee Skincare — a brand built on the pillars of "clean" ingredients, transparency, wellness, education and empowerment.
